Fig Tree Bay beach (also known as Protaras beach) is an award winning beach located in the wonderful resort of Protaras in the holiday town of Paralimni.
This stunning blue flag golden sandy beach with crystal clear seawater and facilities such as umbrellas, sun beds, water sports, toilets, restaurants and kiosks is one of our favorite beaches in the Protaras resort, because it has everything we need for a great day out!
Needless to say, since Fig Tree Bay is a popular tourist resort beach, we usually visit it in September since we try to avoid the huge crowds which can amass there during the summer months.
There is a parking lot for your car which is great. Also, you can access this amazing beach on foot or by bike.
Usually people when visiting an island they are looking for the paradise. If you are one of those people then consider visiting Konnos Bay beach.
It’s a small beach but still one of the top beaches in Famagusta district!
It’s located between Ayia Napa and Protaras and it’s a 200 meter long beach.
We have visited Konnos Bay beach countless times and we have never got bored of it. Every year we visit this amazing beach without fail!
This blue flag golden sandy beach with its crystal clear and calm waters has made it to the top of our Protaras beaches. No wonder why :-).
On the beach you will find umbrellas, sun beds, beach bars, toilets and water sports facilities. If you like taking pictures, stop at the top of the hill and admire the Mediterranean view which is breathtaking. Take your pictures and then continue downwards to the beach.
In June, July and August the beach is crowded. If you don’t mind that then you will love it there! However, if you prefer a beach less crowded then consider visiting us in May or September when the beach doesn’t have as many people like it does during the summer months.

This is another small beach in Protaras, also known as MMAD beach.
Kapparis is a very beautiful beach in which you will find sun beds, umbrellas, water sports, toilets, kiosks and restaurants.
It’s a blue flag sandy beach with crystal clear blue waters which you can access by car, by bike and on foot.
Like the other popular beaches in Protaras it can get crowded during June, July and August. So if you would like to find an umbrella and sun bed available, we suggest you go early in the morning. If you go at midday during the summer months of June, July and August you will find that most of the sun beds and umbrellas are taken.
