Every year we visit our favorite places on the island. Five of those places are located in the Limassol district and they are mentioned below.
In order to visit our Top 5 places in Limassol you will need a rental car.
Why a car, you ask?
Because it’s the best way to see/explore the Limassol district (or part of it) or the whole island if you like. You will be traveling at your own pace and make as many stops as you like…either to rest, have lunch, take pictures or admire the views.
If you love exploring, a car is a must. There are buses (no trains) in Cyprus but they don’t go to all the great/beautiful places on the island...
…except if you would like to book a tour (Cyprus tours) or hire a taxi.

They are so beautiful and mesmerizing that every year we pack our car and pay them a visit!
The villages of Troodos are so charming, traditional and picturesque that we don’t miss the chance to visit them whenever we need a break from the buzz of the city.

If you have a rental car it’s a shame not to visit the village of Agros.
Agros village is located in the Troodos mountain range in the Limassol district. It’s a very popular mountain resort surrounded by green scenery.
It is such a beautiful village that a visit is a must, especially if you have a car.

The famous Troodos Square in the Troodos mountains in the Limassol district is waiting for your visit!
It’s the place where you can relax, enjoy the majestic views of Troodos, have a cup of coffee or tea or even lunch, buy traditional products from the kiosks, unwind and generally rest after all the driving from the city to the mountains.
