Latchi, Paphos (Cyprus)…
We have visited Latchi countless times and every time is a blast! It’s one of our favorite destinations in Paphos.
It’s a wonderful beach area where you can relax, enjoy the sun and the Mediterranean Sea and later have lunch in one of the fish taverns (next to the Latchi pebbled beach) which serve fresh fish.
Click the quick links below to guide you through the article.
Quick links:
Latchi is part of Polis Chrysochous Municipality (also known as Polis).
Once a small coastal fishing village, now one of the most visited tourist areas in the Paphos district, Latchi became a must-visit place on the island, especially if you are visiting the district of Paphos.
It’s 35-40 minutes away by car from Coral Bay.
It has a fishing harbor and one of our favorites beaches in Paphos…Latchi beach. It’s a beautiful pebbled beach just next to the taverns.
For information on Paphos beaches check out…
Latchi is also very near to the Baths of Aphrodite and Akamas Peninsula.
So if you decide to visit it, you have quite a few things to see and do.
If you wish to have a relaxed day on the beach, sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling and later have a delicious meal in one of the taverns – next to the beach – Latchi is the place to be.
Please note that during the summer season (June, July and August) Latchi is full of visitors and locals. So if you want to visit it in a quieter time consider visiting us either during May, September or October. The sun is still shining and the beach and taverns are quieter.
