The architecture of our monasteries and churches is unique.

Consider including in your itinerary at least two of them. We recommend Stavrovouni Monastery and Terra Santa Catholic Church.

If you have time for more, then also visit Ayios Minas Monastery and Saint Lazarus Church. Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque is next to the Salt Lake. So if you are visiting the Mosque you will definitely see the Salt Lake too.

Although only men are permitted to enter Stavrovouni monastery the route to get there is amazing!

Not only that, the view from the hill – where the monastery is built – is a panoramic one. So consider, including Stavrovouni monastery in your itinerary.

Women are permitted to wait in the parking lot from where they will get to see the panoramic view of the mountains and the seaside (if there is no fog).

It is recommended to visit the promenade late afternoon just before the sunset and take a stroll to the castle. You will love it!

In addition to that, consider visiting the Salt Lake (next to Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque) especially in winter, which is full of pink flamingos.
